Can I steal you for a second? Everyone has his or her one guilty pleasure T.V. show… and for me, the Bachelorette definitely takes the cake. It’s a time for the girls to assemble after a long day of work (with half a bottle of wine in their glass) and watch contestants duke it out for a “shot at love” (after taking a number of shots from the Bachelor mansion open bar).
Well this season of the Bachelorette is about to get even more interesting (for San Diego fans at least) because The Tipsy Crow will be bringing back its BAEsic Monday Nights on May 22. Tipsy Crow is a Gaslamp staple, located on Fifth Ave., that’s known for its mouth-watering Americana menu, energetic nightlife… and their unbelievable Bachelorette viewing parties in their upstairs lounge (which ironically resembles the cocktail party lounge in the Bachelor mansion).
The restaurant and bar will be kicking off a whole season of viewing parties with a special season premiere event on May 22. The people at Tipsy Crow obviously know the importance of an incredible first impression… that’s why Bachelorette legend, Chad Johnson, will be making a special appearance at the party for the occasion. All of the charcuterie boards (cold cuts) and whiskey you can imagine will be gracing the upstairs lounge of the venue, as everyone’s favorite Bachelorette troublemaker will be bartending and meeting fans. One lucky (“lucky”) lady will even get to win one-on-one “Chad Time” … which would arguably be more entertaining than the premiere itself.
Some of the most dramatic Monday nights in history sure work up an appetite, and Tipsy Crow will be hosting appetizers, Ketel One and Moët & Chandon USA drink specials, and an exclusive Bachelorette cocktail menu all season long (honestly, the cocktail names are hilarious). Not to mention there will be games with prizes such as Victoria’s Secrets and Lulu Lemon gift cards (okay, twist my arm).
If you are a Bachelorette fan this is not to be missed! And if you’re not Bachelorette fan, it may be worth it for a night full of yoga pants and champagne.
