Who’s ready to Rock ‘n’ Roll? Synchrony Financial Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego Marathon & ½ Marathon is this weekend but the party is just getting started!
Whiskey Girl, in the heart of the Gaslamp, is the official marathon party destination and restaurant partner this year. They are starting the fun on June 1 and continuing it throughout the weekend, keeping racers and their families celebrating before and after the finish line. Whether you’re looking for a “Carb Up” menu to get prepared for the big day or a destination the whole family can sit down and enjoy, Whiskey Girl is your place! They will have Happy Hour drink specials including $4 wells, drafts & house wines and $5 bites, live DJs and complimentary Michelob Ultra with this year’s 5K-race bib or medal.
On Sunday, the Official Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego After Party starts with brunch at Whiskey Girl at 9 a.m. and goes throughout the day with ongoing raffles. Party-goers can collect raffle tokens throughout the weekend and redeem on Sunday to win an array of prizes including Rock ‘n’ Roll race entries, hats, tees, Rock My Run Memberships and more. Whiskey Girl will also be offering $10 Bottomless “Pink Ladies,” a complimentary Michelob Ultra for all runners, specials, raffles and bingo, all followed by the high energy Toga Party Band and DJ Marc Thrasher of Rock My Run.
