La Mesa Oktoberfest: Celebrating 50 Years of German Fun!

Music, Beers, Games & More Await at San Diego's Ultimate Oktoberfest from September 29h to October 1st.

La Mesa Oktoberfest celebrates its 50th year in grand style! Since 1973, this beloved festival has attracted crowds from across San Diego and Southern California for three days of live music, delicious German food, family activities, artisan vendors, and of course, plenty of German and Craft beer. From September 29th to October 1st, 2023, the La Mesa Village will host the largest German celebration in San Diego.

Experience non-stop performances by local bands, indulge in traditional German fare, and raise your steins to "Prost!" at the festival's three fully loaded biergartens. Explore three fully loaded biergartens:

The Hofbräuhaus Biergarten: The largest biergarten featuring the Main Stage with cover band and oompah band performances, communal seating, interactive games, and walk-up German food booths.

The Palm Avenue Bier Hall (EXPANDED FOR 2023): The most traditional biergarten offering restaurant-style service, oompah bands, polka groups, and interactive games.

The Craft Bier & Seltzer Garten: A trendy lounge-style biergarten with a San Diego vibe, offering craft beer, free-play games, and DJ beats.
