25th Annual North Park Music Fest returns on May 21st and 22nd

Updated: May 23, 2022

North Park announces The North Park Music Fest 2022. This hip and fun music event will include all the favorite elements found at past North Park music events + more! Live art, interactive experiences, craft beer, craft cocktails and of course, karaoke! This two-day event for all ages will offer much more than a typical street fair experience. Food, craft beer and craft cocktails along with interactive experiences are being carefully curated to create a unique and eclectic vibe that is everything North Park is about.

“The diverse and creative community of North Park has proven that it can pivot and succeed. North Park Music Fest is an expression of what we have learned through 24 years of festival planning, and we couldn’t be more excited to present this event to locals and visitors,” says Angela Landsberg, Executive Director of North Park Main Street. “There is nothing like this in the County, and we are excited to offer it in our community!”

Music goers will enjoy the variety of local and regional indie rock, bluegrass, funk, rock, acoustic and DJ sounds on three separate stages. Along with high quality food offerings, like paella, a cheese bar and gourmet snow cones, there will be handmade craft cocktails, beer from North Park’s best brewers and a hip and relaxing environment to spend the day eating, drinking and enjoying your friends while making new ones. There will be something for all ages at this hometown music fest including interactive art exhibits, stilt walkers, silent disco and a DIY art tent.

The event will be held Saturday, May 21st from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, May 22nd from Noon to 6 p.m.

Entry to the event is $20 for a one-day ticket, or $30 for a two-day ticket.

In addition, this event will also feature a VIP Sunday Brunch hosted by Breakfast Republic, and Eggies. Tickets are limited for this 100-person event from 10am-noon on Sunday the 22nd. In addition to entrance into the event, a morning Mai Tai with signature island coconut cup and choice of breakfast items, there will be traditional Hawaiian dancers, live ukulele music and other festivities. Tickets for the VIP Brunch are $65. Proceeds go towards the Mid-City Homeless Outreach Program. Purchase an entire table and get a complementary basket of morning sweets!

Local music will be played throughout the weekend. Expect to hear music from The Creepy Creeps, Whitney Shay, Little Hurricane, Wavves, Silent Comedy and more!

Proceeds from this event benefit North Park Main Street, a non-profit organization committed to the development of the North Park Business Improvement District, with specific intention to the revitalization efforts of North Park through litter and graffiti removal, sidewalk pressure-washing and enhancements to the public right-of-way.
