After a brief hiatus, KAABOO Del Mar is set to once again grace the Del Mar Fairgrounds with its electrifying presence. The 22nd District Agricultural Association Board of Directors gave the green light for this epic return after approving a contract with Festival Licensing and Acquisition Corporation (FLAAC). What's even more exciting is that this isn't just any KAABOO revival – FLAAC is bringing a fresh twist to the festival, promising a unique experience that'll have you counting down the days until September 2024.

For those of you who've been itching for KAABOO's return, we understand the anticipation. The last time this epic festival took center stage at the Del Mar Fairgrounds was in 2019, just before the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a year of musical legends, unforgettable performances, and an atmosphere that crackled with excitement. Remember the headliners? Think Red Hot Chili Peppers, Aerosmith, Jimmy Buffet, Hall & Oates, Grouplove, Dana Carvey, Bob Saget, Wayne Brady, Pink, Kings of Leon, and Imagine Dragons. Yes, you read that right! Carlene Moore, the District's CEO, shares our excitement. She mentioned that people have been asking about KAABOO's return regularly, and we're thrilled to report that it's finally happening. Moore couldn't have put it better when she said, "In the five years prior to the pandemic, KAABOO Del Mar attracted top names in music, art, and entertainment, created countless memories, and generated excitement in San Diego County and beyond. With a unanimous vote in favor of the contract, the board has given the green light to what promises to be an epic return. Plus, FLAAC, the brains behind this revival, has some exciting plans in store. They've discussed security, noise and traffic mitigation, and food and beverage operations, ensuring your KAABOO experience is as smooth as it is electrifying.
