Islands Restaurants, the Carlsbad-based restaurant chain known for its laid-back, surf-inspired atmosphere, great burgers and tropical drinks, is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year! To thank the community for 35 years of support, Islands will be offering one free burger to the first 100 guests who visit the Mission Valley location (2441 Fenton Parkway) on Monday, August 14. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. and free burgers will be given on a first come, first served basis.
In addition, The restaurant also just launched a celebratory brew in partnership with Karl Strauss, which will be available for a limited time. The beer is called Islands Golden Ale which is a medium-bodied draft beer with roasted malt flavors, floral hop aromas and a crisp, clean finish. “Over the years we’ve received a lot of requests from guests to bring back our Golden Ale, so we thought this would be a great beer to help us kick off summer and our 35th year,” said Islands’ President Michael Smith. “We hope guests will enjoy the celebratory brew with us all summer long!”
Don't miss out on celebrating Islands' 35th anniversary with a free burger!

A burger anniversary post made me hungry, but it also reminded me of how often I swap coffee for something warmer and less sharp in the afternoon. I tried changing that habit during a busy work month because too much coffee made me feel wired by evening. The food side matters too, because drinks are part of the same small routine as lunch, snacks, and late work sessions. I pay attention to taste comments, subscription details, and how people describe using a product after the first few days. Before buying another drink mix, I would compare MUD WTR reviews because real user reactions say more than a clean product page.
