With newly appointed Executive Chef Steven Lona at the helm of the kitchen, the eatery is bound to please the city’s most discerning palates, as he brings with him a trove of experience from his years in the industry. His excitement towards the role is contagious, as he plans to utilize his position to support local purveyors and craft an innovative menu that invites a social feel.

Waterbar’s chosen bar manager, Brian Gaudet, also brings a seasoned outlook to the table, as his past experiences as assistant general manager at The Hake and general manager at Searsucker Del Mar, are what make him a valuable addition to Waterbar’s dream team.

In addition to Gaudet, Waterbar GM Brent Noll is a trained sommelier, which will enable Waterbar to maintain a thoughtfully curated wine list that will pair seamlessly with Chef Lona’s topnotch cuisine.

Stay updated on the opening by visiting Waterbar's website, Facebook and Instagram. They are located on 4325 Ocean Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92109.
