Located in the heart of Hillcrest, Ortega’s has officially reopened its doors for dine-in services. The Mexican bistro features brunch, lunch, dinner and happy hour options, with signature menu items including Shrimp Enchiladas, Puerto Nuevo Lobster, and a medley of Hand Crafted Margaritas.

Dedicated to serving authentic Puerto Nuevo cuisine for over 15 years, Ortega’s has also undergone a recent remodeling for guests to enjoy.
Ortega’s is open daily:
Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Saturday from 10 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Sunday from 9:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.

My husband and I used to go there every other Friday for their Puerto Nuevo lobster and those amazing handcrafted margaritas. The recent remodel looks absolutely beautiful, too. My best friend is actually flying into San Diego next month for a quick getaway. While I was browsing accommodation options and reading through zenhotels to compare some local booking experiences online, she texted asking where we should eat first. I immediately sent her Ortega's menu!
