Have you ever wondered how much a small content creator could make on YouTube and TikTok?

Most of you know that I have 3 youtube channels. 2 of them are entertainment/gaming channels and the other one would be classified as a people/blog channel I guess. 1 out of the 3 channels got monetized on Youtube back in August of 2022. Since then, I have been able to put ads on my youtube videos. Even though my RPM/CPM are pretty low, probably because of the gaming/entertainment industry, It might not be much for my entertainment channel, but it's income from posting videos. I'm also posting videos on various platforms like youtube, facebook and tiktok. I have joined the creator fund on TikTok as well.

In this video I'll share with you what a day looks like handling client work, content creating and how I come up with a to do list through out the week. In addition, I do a break down of my earnings from last year which includes adsense from Youtube and income from TikTok's creator fund.

In summary, I didn't make much from youtube because I posted more youtube shorts than I did long form videos. However, currently, I'm making more adsense revenue because I'm pushing out 1 to 2 long form videos a week now. From August 2022 to January 2023, I've earned around $243.61 and received about $117 from my first Youtube check.

In regards to Tiktok, that's a hit or miss but i'm ranging from $50 - $75 a month which is really cool. My biggest payout was back in December 2021 when I earned $221.50. Again, this isn't my full time job, it's still technically a hobby but the fact I can bring in a little income is super cool. If we estimate all my earnings from TikTok, YouTube and even Twitch, I've earned over $1,000. I do have goals to pursue brand collaborations with my personal channel and my sims 4 channel.

It requires a lot of work but it's a great reward and a milestone to hit if you're aiming to generate revenue with your own content. I'd recommended working with other brands and joining affiliate programs as well. That'll also help generate additional income. You would be amazed how many brands would want to work with you or how many viewers out there will purchase something from a link you've provided on your videos or an article.

I hope my video and article inspires you to continue to pursue your dreams and goals to passive income.
