New classical French bistro with a coastal flare opens in Bankers Hill

Bonjour! A new french eatery Parc Bistro-Brasserie will open its doors this month in the heart of Bankers Hill. This French bistro will also feature its own private wine label and will serve classic French grub with contemporary elements. The owner, Garo Minassian, is an award-winning restaurateur from Montreal, Canada who opened up his first San Diego restaurant, Scalini's, in Del Mar/Rancho Santa Fe. Following his successful launch of Scalini's, Minassian opened up other eateries such as Bistro Bacco (downtown San Diego), Grappa Restaurant (San Marcos) and Harrys Bar and Grill (La Jolla).

Parc Bistro-Brasserie will be a hub for the community to enjoy great food in a

relaxed atmosphere. Minassian is excited to share his passion for French food and

French culture with the Bankers Hill community. The restaurant's menu will be created by Executive Chef Donald Lockhart, who recently worked at Cusp Restaurant. His menu will include french onion soup, crispy ricotta blossom salad, butter roasted salmon, duck confit, mussels & frites, spinach ricotta agnolotti and more.

Here's a look at the menu.

Parc will open its doors for happy hour and dinner on Wednesday, May 18th. Happy hour is from 3 to 6 p.m. and dinner is from 5 to 10 p.m. Be sure to reserve a table at parcbb.com.
